The week that has been ...

Almost a week since i posted, been busy at work and other things which i don't know about. St Valentine made a cameo on the 14th and our wedding anniversary was on the 15th. The trouble with these 2 days occurring next to each other is that Vidhya expects me to get gifts for both the occasions and different ones, that too. It is very difficult to think of unique gifts for 2 consecutive days. If such occasions occur months apart, probably one can get away with even the same greeting card !

Anyway, Vidhya likes red balloons, or so she told me last weekend, otherwise, how should i have known? Actually, which girl doesn't like red-heart-shaped balloons or anything else supposed to symbolise romance ..uh. Anyway, I got a couple of red-heart-shaped balloons and stuck them in our living room and Vidhya was impressed. Probably, she didn't expect anything more than "Happy Valentine's Day" card from me! But, I was smart and also bought another gift from the same shop, but didn't "release" it on 14th. On 15th, on our wedding day, this was the gift and guess what, Vidhya was impressed. Probably, she just expected me to say "Happy Anniversary".
