Rang De Basanti - The Review

If
- you are a blogger
- your roots are from India/you are in India

then, it is obligatory that you write a review of the movie "Rang De Basanti". Ofcourse, I want to be accepted in the blogging society and don't want to be branded as an outcast or a rebel. So, here it comes, the one and only review of "Rang De Basanti" from the country of Cyprus( My post is unique in some way as everyone else's!)
---
Rang De Basanti, henceforth referred to as RDB, stars Aamir Khan and few other people. RDB will be a good movie, infact a great movie accompanied by great music. The song "Rubaroo" has been shot very well, particularly the shot of Aamir falling backwards into something. Some of the scenes reminisce the youthfulness of 'Dil Chahta Hai'. Madhavan, though difficult to discern amongst the crowd, it seems, appears in the movie. The first few lines of most of the songs are very catchy in nature. It seems that a "phoren" girl also appears in the movie, dunno where exactly she fits in the movie's plot. Atleast, this is what i could infer from the trailers which appear ever-so-often on B4U. The rest of the review will be after i see the movie!
I just realised that writing "henceforth referred to as RDB" was useless, because i didn't use it even once after that. So, the previous sentence serves its purpose now.

hey thr...
i saw RDB (it didnt go waste after all) the other day...on the big screen too (the perks of being in India ...or atleast out of Cyprus)...
an amazing movie in many terms...a must c movie for everyone ... frm those who r proud of all things Indian to the other'wise'...

The parallels that r drawn with the lives of Bhagat Singh and his comrades r striking though unfortunately the script runs away from Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra towards the end...

Still watch it. Watch it for Aamir as the flamboyant but insecure DJ Watch it for Kunal Kapoor as the ice cool Aslam. Watch it for Siddharth as the 'sab chalta hai' Karan. Most of all watch it for Atul Kulkarni's (as Laxmn Pandey) rendition of 'Sarfaroshi ki tamanna ab hamare dil mein hai..."

"The problem with us Indians is that we have on foot in the past and one in the future...and we pee on the present"
- DJ, in RDB
